By the Power of Greyskull......I must learn to proof read

Ok, so there is a running joke in the family....My other half still thinks he is 18 years old....well he turned 30 this month. I wanted to make a point of this. Well I would have done a better job...if I proof read my card. Gosh that was embarrassing when he was sitting at his "surprise" party and he is trying to read his card, and it doesn't make any sense. Trust me to make a spelling/grammer error. Well, he LOVED his card. I just printed the image twice (I found it on the net). Then put the 2nd image of card stock then cut it out and popped it up to make is look 3D.

cute as a button

Gigi the Giraffe.....I think giraffe's are a perfect little image for babies. I am on a baby kick lately, I really don't know why, but some of the stuff out there is so cute. I stamped one image on the card in black, then stamped another image on white paper, then colored and cut it out. Then popped the cut out of the body and then just glued the feet directly on the card. I am not sure where the sentiment came from, but I think it is from the dollar bin at michael's.

Today I caught myself smiling.....

This is stamped on white paper (yah I know obvious) then I colored the bunny white, I didn't think it would make a difference but IRL it really does. I am not a hugh fan of Martha Stewart as a person, but I am liking her crafting line. Here is a little tip, her line of crafting supplies is at both Micheal's and Walmart, well here is the "good thing", Walmart's pricing is about HALF of what it is at Micheal's. Walmart here I come.

Muchas Gracias!!!

With this card, I need to show you a couple of very recent pictures of my dogs. So we got home on Monday after the long weekend, We took Mya (the one on the right) and Rio went over to Kyle's mom's house for the weekend. They are not normally aloud on the bed but I was in the office and it was very quite in the house which is not normal. I was thinking that Mya and Rio have gotten them selves in trouble. When I turned the corner out of the office, what do my eyes see. They are sleeping.....I think they missed each other...how sweet.

First Trip out with the Trailer

Can you believe that it SNOWED in August!!!! Yup, our maiden voyage out and it snowed. Actually the weather was not very nice all weekend. We were only 45 minitues NW of Calgary near Watervalley. I guess we didn't get it as bad as people in Canmore, they got 3 or 4 inches of snow!!! I do feel sorry for the guy across from us, his auning half on, half off of his trailer. We got away lucky and only had to sweep the snow off, but it was pretty heavy!!!
PS, don't Forget about the BLOG CANDY.....I will be making the draw on September 3rd in the evening....:-)
