Monkeys

So when Tab at 7 kids college Fund put out the call for cards, these as some of them that I did.

How cute is this stamps. It by a new company called Your Next Stamp. How cute is this little Monkey? He is from the set called Monkey gone Bananas.

I just love the background paper, I was lucky enough to hit up a Jo-Ann's Fabric store when I was in the States. And they had all their scrapbooking paper stacks on SALE. For those of you that are lucky enough not to have to shop in Canada you won't understand the mark up on craft supplies. So here is an example, The 8x8 stack would cost in Canada regular price $19.99 and for a 12x12 $30 to $35. Now I got this 8x8 pack for only $5.99!!! Amazing savings.

Recipe:
Cardstock: Shimmery White - SU, Tempting Turquoise - SU, Pixie Pink - SU, the back ground paper is by DCWV called Animal Crackers.
Stamps: Your Next Stamp
Ink: Tempting Turquoise - SU, Pixie Pink - SU

Book Mark

I thought I would try and make a book make with self healing laminating punches by Scotch....and it worked. I love my new book mark. I am not one for book marks that go over pages, this one sits nicely in a book spine and it stays put!!! And there was no Stamping. and I just used scraps of paper.

Recipe:
Cardstock: Urban oasis - SU, Baja Breeze - SU, Regal Rose - SU
Accessories: Ribbon, Butterfly punches by Martha Stewart, corner rounder punch, self healing laminating punches by Scotch, Cuttle bug and embossing folders
