Little Prince

Here is another one that I made with stamps that I have never use.  I also tried a new technique.   I first stamped my image with versamark, then used black embossing powder.  Then I colored with watercolor crayons.  The coloring is not the greatest, I should have used watercolor paper instead of Shimmery white.

Recipe:
Stamps: Frog - Snag 'Em Stamps by Imaginisce , Mixed Messages - PTI
Ink: Versamark, Old Olive - SU
Cardstock: Kraft - SU, Old Olive - SU, Bording Blue - SU, Shimmery White - SU,
Accessories: Cuttlebug, nesties, martha stewart scallop punch & ribbon, buttons, half pearl bling, watercolor crayons - SU, aquapen

Stacey's frame

I made this for my Sister-in-law. We did Christmas Wishes instead of giving presents and this was what she wanted me to do for he .  I made with the colors that match her house.  Her house is all earth tone colors.  This was the only paper that I could find that matched all the colors.   She seemed to really like it.

I pick up a bunch of these frames at Michael's when ever they go on sale for $1.50.  They are such I quick project.  Finished project cost no more then $3.

Cricut Cutting with Deep Blade

I was inspired by a card that we made in card class and the fact that I need to try out the deep cutting blade that I bought for my self on my Birthday.  I really like my cricut, but find that I am not using it that much.   Has any one tried to use their vinyl line?  I would really like to get the new home decor card and try it out.

Recipe:
Acetate sheet, cricut, deep cutting blade, DP, ribbon, Say it with Scallops stamp set from SU, real red ink.

Cut out the shape with Cricut, assemble, I use scor-pal tape on anything I can.  I love the fact that you can just tear the tape and not have to use scissors.

You can get the tape at 7 Kids College Fund

Box for Basic Grey Bling

I was surfing on Clearly Delightful and Laurie made a super cute box for her new Basic Grey Bling.   Well not only did I make the box, I went and bought the bling from Clear Dollar Stamps.  There are so many different colors, shapes and pearls, and they are not expensive at all.  Yup I order all the ones that I liked and they all fit in this box.

Laurie's tutorial is very good.  Please go check it out.
