Tree of Life
My Father took at quick trip to Nova Scotia for his Father's 80th Birthday Party. Our family have been collecting this ornaments for YEARS. They release a new one every year for Christmas. He made it a point to make a quick trip to Amos Pewter for us. This is the new one for this year "Tree of Life". I decided I would put it in a frame.....I love the way it turned out.
This is the story that came with the ornament
"Look at a tiny seed and wonder at the extraordinary changes that will transform it into a majestic tree. With its high-reaching branches and deep-spreading roots, this tree becomes part of the great circle of life that links all living things. The Tree of Life reminds us of the greatness beyond our own lives, and the connections - past, present and future - which are such a part of who we all are and will become."

Catching up
I am so sorry to everyone that follows my blog........I have neglected you, and I am sorry. I have been super busy with life and work that I have not really had the energy or the creative mojo to craft. I do have some cards/projects that I have taken pictures of but have not put them on the computer yet to be able to share them. I am hoping to get through this week and have some stuff up the middle of next week.
Hope to see you all next week.

Hop on Over
I have so much fun with the Stick with It Adhesive Transfers by Doodlebug designs. They are double sided stickers that you can apply glitter, micro beads etc... to. I have so much glitter but don't use it all that often because I find that it is all over the house and never really stays on the card.

Why are the best things in life Bad......
Is this not so true. I the things we like we should do, like spend lot of money on paper crafts...nah that is not it, what am I talking about!!! Spend spend spend....:-)
One this one, I took a 4x4 piece of shimmery white, stamped the cupcakes and sundae's, then put the liquid applique on the cupcakes, sprinkled the glitter then used my heat embossing gun to puff up the liquid applique, then repeated for the sundae. I know it says to leave the applique to dry completely, but I never do and it still puffs up. Then I put the stickles on the cherry's. Background is done.
