Giraffe baby shower

I totally cased this card. I was attending my Husband's cousin's baby shower and she has her nursery in a safari theme. I saw this card on-line and had to make it. I took my about an hour to make it as I didn't have some the same punches but I think it turned out really good.

Jolene loved the card and stated that she was going to frame it and put it up in the baby's room!!! How cool it that.

Here is the link to the website where I found the card.

Stampin' Up Color Renovation !!!!

I am super excited to tell you girls about this cool change to the Stampin' Up color palette. I will admit, I am one that will use the same colors
all the time.....I have grown tried of some of the colors over the last few years. With that said....change is coming with the new Catty in July!!!

We are going to be retiring some colors.
And then we will be adding some new ones and also bringing back some of the old in colors....I will admit that I find the new colors a great update and much more appealing. Can you tell how excited I am.

The new In Colors will be available for 2 years! Starting next year, there will be a total of 10 In Colors with five rotating out and five rotating in every year.

I will keep you informed on new color kits, Stampin' Up! markers for all Core Colors (including former In Colors and the newest colors), expansion of colors for Stampin' Pastels and Watercolor Wonder Crayons and an awesome Color Coach tool that will make color selection better than ever!

New bird punch

I cased this card right out of the new mini Catty "Occasions mini Catalogue" that is running Jan 5 - April 30, 2010. I think this is a super cute and fun punch and the punches can be locked closed and are easy for storage....gotta love it when they think about storage.

This was very easy to make..... for the bird I punched out the bird in Melon Mambo and then stamped it in the same color with the new Dot, Dot, Dot stamp. For the Branch, I punch in both Chocolate chip and olive green. I cut off the leaves from the olive green then ran a little line with my bone folder to make a little crease in the leaves then just glued them on this tombow liquid glue.

Stamped Wonderful mother sentiment from the new "Well Scripted" and then used the new border punch "Scallop Trim" from the Sale-A-Bration, and then the little epoxy brad. Super easy.

Receipe:
Stamps: Well Scripted, Dot, dot, dot,
Cardstock: Soft Suede, Melon Mambo, Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, Shimmery White
Ink: Melon Mambo, Chocolate Chip
Accessories: Two Step bird punch, Scallop Trim border punch, epoxy brads.

All supplies are from Stampin' Up.
