So....Do I have a problem with Ribbon....

OK, I have a small problem......I can't leave ribbon in the store. It has to come home with me. The drawer is about 2 ft long and 1 1/2 ft deep. I haven't counted how many there is, but I can also tell you that I just gave about 20 rolls of ribbon to my mom. When ever we go to the craft store's, Mom says to me "Do you really need more ribbon" sometimes I will put it back, most times it comes home with me.

Is there anyone else that is addicted to ribbon like I am?

Should I be joining AA for ribbon collecting? Hehehe.

Enjoy and TFL

Back from Vacation

Hello Everyone,

I am back, well actually I was back on Saturday. I will be honest, I haven't made anything in about 2 weeks. So once my head and creative mojo comes out of vacation mode, I will have things posted. Oh did I mention, us Canadian are paying way to much for craft products. Almost everything I bought was half the price of what we pay in Canada.
I have some pictures to share with you from our vacation. We went camping in Sandpoint, Idaho. We had a blast!! The sad part is, the RV park that we stayed at is closing their doors at the end of this camping season. I guess they are developing the land in to cabin and or Condo's. We are all secretly hoping that they wont get it all done for next year and still be open. Enough with my ramblings...... Enjoy the pic's

lower half of the RV park, Beyond Hope RV Park

The boy's playing football.
This is my Mom's dog Tia, she was actually enjoying her self with her tiny life jacket on.
Kyle Playing JENGA.... God we all we laughing so hard
This one is of Jen, it looks like she was trying to part the seas......no she was trying to get the waves in the boat. The water was very choppy that day.
A beautiful house of someone famous, now I know we were told, but for the life of me I can not remember, must not of been someone TOO famous hehehe
Sunset on the "beach" (I don't really like saying beach unless it is on an ocean) None the less, beautiful. It actually looks like 2 geese flying side by side.

Happy Stampede Eveyone!!!

Hello Everyone, Today in the official start of the Calgary Stampede. I want to wish everyone a Happy, Fun and safe Stampede Week. I must admit, I am not really into the Stampede, Kyle and I try and stay as far away from it as possible. The odd night we may try and go see the fireworks, but this year we wont even be in town. Vacation here we come!!! So with that said, this will be my last post for a week or so. I hope this card will hold you over for the week.

I finally had some time to made a card with the set that I won from Clearly Delightful. I decided to do a gate fold card, I want it to look like a saloon. I think it worked out great. For the sky, I punched a scallop circle and then took a piece of sponge in Soft Sky - SU, put the punch on the paper and then layered the ink over to make it look like clouds.

Recipe:
Stamps:
Charlie Fenced in by Clear Dollar Stamps, Wild West by Clear Dollar Stamps
Cardstock: SEI - Linen assortment, shimmery white - SU, DCWV - Rockstar stack
Ink: Palette Black, Tim Holtz Distress ink in Walnut Stain, Soft sky- SU
Accessories: Ribbon hardware, Brads, Matpack - SU, Scorpal, Long Classic Scalloped Rectangle - Nestibilities, Cuttlebug, Prismacolor pencil crayons, Baby oil, blending stump, hemp twine

Enjoy & TFL
